The Anatomy of a Lab Pack A "lab pack" is a specialized disposal method for small-quantity chemicals (typically 5 gallons and smaller) that are expired, damaged, or otherwise unusable. To ensure safe transit, our technicians:

• Categorize & Segregate: Chemicals are carefully sorted by their hazardous waste and DOT properties (such as flammability and corrosivity) to prevent dangerous interactions.

• Secure & Stabilize: The containers are packed into DOT-approved pails, drums or cubic yard boxes.

• Cushion & Protect: We utilize specialized packing media, like vermiculite, to prevent containers from shifting or breaking during transport.
